2017 Assemblage Oregon Chardonnay
September 2019 Oregon Wine Press
The nose is reminiscent of pie crust and pear tart with doughy characteristics. The saline minerality at the forefront of the palate is accompanied by green apple, verbena, and a twist of lemon. The ever-present acidity will pair effortlessly with rich dishes like seared scallops or crisp pork belly on a bed of greens. This wine is delicious now and will age beautifully as it softens and garners even more depth.
