2018 Melodia Oregon Pinot Noir
90 Points - 2020 Monterey Wine Festival Competition
Initially, the nose tempts you with a dark bouquet of fruit, transitioning into lavish notes of lambert cherry, sun-warmed earth, and lemon zest. Secondary notes dominate the palate with toasted oak, worn leather, and a mysterious lingering flavor, akin to cherry cola, that always seems just out of reach. While discretion and mystery dictate the palate, the finish is overwhelmingly tactile with wonderful tannins, creating a densely structured wine and equally dense mouthfeel.
