2019 Pas de Chat Rogue Valley Pinot Noir
A bustling yet mercurial nose that initially opens with rose water, citrus peel, and juicy pomegranate, but does shift to earth, cedar, and a bit of mushroom the longer it breathes. The palate is acid driven with the fresh red fruits, pomegranate and raspberry, once again taking the wheel. The tension on the finish is moderate with a light grain tannin highlighting the acid and allowing a gentle sweetness to shine through. This is a really pretty wine that aims to please.
