2019 Brise Oregon Pinot Noir
Gold Medal / 2021 San Francisco International Wine Competition
This Pommard driven Pinot opens with lush red fruit, earthy undertones, cocoa nibs, coffee and toasted oak. Fresh and decisive fruit spans the length of the palate with bustling acidity that balances the sweet ripples of oak. The oak, however, does add a darker and deeper flavor profile that enhances the bright fruit. The finish is tight with a great acid-tannin balance and lingers effortlessly. This wine is tense, a wonderful representation of Pommard, and will continue to age well for many years to come.
