2020 Danseur Rogue Valley Syrah

This deeply colored Syrah opens with an abundance of secondary aromas on the nose. Behind the brief notes of plum and boysenberry, a spate of herbs emerges with the likes of thyme, marjoram, tarragon and anise. The herbs blend with a smoked meat characteristic that complements delightfully. The palate returns to fruit with the most common flavors being cassis, with a touch of tartness, brambles, adding a subtle sweetness, and a hint of leather adding a bit of intrigue.
