2021 Assemblage Rogue Valley Chardonnay

A bright chardonnay that opens with an airy minerality, ripe pear, crushed almonds, and a touch of honeydew melon. The palate moves away from minerality and dives headfirst into a basket of fruit consisting of Meyer lemon, white peach, pear, and a continuation of honeydew. There is a warmth and spice, generously donated by the barrel, that intertwines with a robust acid profile but it is this warmth that shines on the finish with notes of crème Brulé, coconut shavings, and pie crust.
