The 2022 Pas de Chat Pinot Noir is a captivating wine that begins with an exceptionally red-fruited nose full of dark cherries, tart raspberries, and a juicy note of pomegranate. On the palate, the fruit continues to take center stage with sweet red fruit flavors dominating the profile. The line of Pomegranate is continued, sweet Bing cherries, and a tartness of red currants, all harmoniously intermingle to create a dynamic yet concise flavor profile. Young assertive tannins on the finish combined with the wine’s robust acidity leads to a very inviting, yet tense finish.
